In the small market town of Northwich, Cheshire you will find a special place that offers you real choices in pregnancy and childbirth.

The Holistic Birthing Centre exists to enable you to access individualised care and to help you achieve a positive pregnancy and fulfilling birth experience.

The centre has been designed to provide an intimate, comfortable and safe sanctuary where you can labour privately with the support of your birth partner(s) and a midwife with whom you have established a trusting relationship.

At the centre you will have your own homely room complete with birthing pool and en-suite facilities. There is a comfortable sofa bed for you to rest on and we have a wide range of bean bags and birth balls readily available to help you through your labour. Ambient lighting and a full music system helps ensure that you can create a mood best suited to your needs.
We also have cosy and inviting communal areas and a delightful garden.

The Centre, in conjunction with the Holistic Counselling Centre and independent therapeutic practitioners offers a wide range of services, classes and treatments.

We offer a free consultation and tour of the centre. The visit is intended to be very informal and relaxed but you will, of course, have the opportunity to see how the practice works and to ask questions. We will provide you with as much information as possible about all the choices available to you.

There are no rules that exclude a woman from considering her options regardless of her previous history.
